FRACTORA

What is it?

Delivering radio frequency energy to the skin, Fractora is an anti-aging procedure that improves skin tone and texture through skin resurfacing and ablation. Fractora is used most commonly on fine or deep wrinkles, scars, or discolored red and brown skin tone on the lower eyelid, upper eyelid, smile lines, cheeks, mouth and neck.

The Science

Fractora works by administering thermal energy (heat) through tiny pins. These pins injure the skin slightly, removing damaged skin and promoting new collagen growth. The skin works to repair itself, leaving you with smoother, tighter, and younger looking skin. Ideal candidates for Factora are over the age of 30 and are concerned about lower face, jowls, sagging of the neck, increased skin elasticity, wrinkles, scars, acne, or hyperpigmentation.

The Process

Fractora procedures last less than one hour and are performed in our office. A topical anesthetic is applied to alleviate discomfort. Most patients require 2-3 treatments for optimal results and take a day or two off work to allow their skin to heal. Results are visible after a single treatment and will continue to develop for 3 to 6 months after treatments are completed. Side effects are minimal and can include swelling, redness, and bruising.

  • Improved fine lines and wrinkles

  • Improvement in skin elasticity and firmness

  • Enhanced texture and pigment
